This sounds Wonderful. Researching for months…. How I can, sell ebooks etc.. ebay. Finally can across good info, Hope this works for me. Have read newsletters by the thousands (yes, thousands) from sells marketers, some of whom you’ve mentioned here and others. My problem is hubby and I are retired and have a broken shoe string to manage on. So I have been trying to do this for very, very, little $$. Would like to hear more on your Sky High Actions, but can not purchase-will only learn what I can from newsletters or videos. I have invested in this type of stuff in the past and it was rehashed junk material I was already aware of. Clean out your garage and sell your junk. If this is the same rehashed trash it is as useless as the material published by Derick Gehel in Vancover BC that was total garbage, as well as the junk that is published all night long on Direct TV. The real secret is the people that publish most this material are for the most part hustlers. I see the same endorsements on this page that I see on all the others. The same con men. I will spare the names to stay away from a law suit. They like to call themselves a mentor or they are experts for some other reason. They are not interested in providing anything of value. They are only interested in separting people from their money and then moving on to the next scam or scheme. They call it marketing I call it hustling like a street corner drug dealer. There is a huge difference between real value and hustling. Most people do know the difference dispite what all of these people think. I know not a nice comment but I have experience with a number of these people and I have watched and only beedn sucked in two maybe three times by all the lies that these people put up on their web sites and call good marketing information or sound business advice. The drop shippers ? Most of them sell or auction their drop ship products on E-bay for less than they will drop ship them for you to a third party. There is no ethics or integrity when you bring up the word internet in any conversation. It has been ruined over the past two decades by these people

i don’t have an eBay store yet.But i have watched eBay for most of the last year, and have received info. from many large dropshippers and the price that dropship wholesalers quote to me on a product i can buy that particular item on eBay a dollar or two cheaper Please reply to this email.

Hi Harold,
It sounds to me like you are either selling the wrong products, or have found the wrong source of the product. If your source is the same or similar level source as the people selling on eBay, then of course they’ll undercut you by a dollar or 2 on eBay.
There are many different ways of approaching making money from eBay that we approach in our course. Some of them are unconventional (such as how one powerseller earns hundreds of thousands in commissions selling downloadable books, or how another seller earns commissions on ‘affiliate’ products), others are conventional, such as how to find a profitable ‘niche’ market, and sell multiple products to your customers.
Another thing worth considering is that some products are worth making a loss. What I’m talking about is a "Loss Leader" where you might lose some money on that initial sale, but you might include with your sale a brochure for other related products that you sell, and might get sales from those. One of the powersellers in the Sky High Auctions members area shows you how he sells niche costume products and mentions that sometimes he makes a loss on more popular costumes but still stocks them to bring more people into his store. Other costumes he makes a huge profit.
There is a lot to this business, which is why there are over 20 hours of step by step videos and written versions of each lesson in the full Sky High Auctions course.

Hi, Mr. Cant said "… in the first week made $800+, less a few fees from eBay". I notice you said nothing about what he sold, his cost of goods and what his actual eBay fees totaled. I’m a Silver Powerseller. eBay and Paypal fees eat up a large percentage of my net profit, With the FV fees going to almost 9% I’ll be in trouble. Good point, he didn’t give us those details when he decided to email and phone in with his success story. Remember, this product hasn’t officially launched yet, so it has only been beta tested by a select few people. These people have only received a beta edition which, while being very good, only contains half of the full Sky High Auctions course.
So the best success stories are yet to come (after launch).
What I think is more important to you than reading the success stories is to watch our free 5 part video course (launching 11 February). In this we teach you a lot of ways of boosting your income from online auctions. Wait and see first if you find these 5 videos earn you lots more money from your online auctions. Never sold anything on auctions because I didn’t know how to and don’t have the money to try because I know you must know how or you will lose your money and wound up making nothing. I hope through this I will be making money or at least enough to make my car payment of approx. 400.00 a month.

I have the computer skills and marketing skills as well but was not able to find any home based business that wasn’t expensive or talked a lot of hype in the past,so i am hoping this wont be expensive and will be great as i am looking for a way to spend more time at home without the worry of financial future.
These never work. Any good schemes would not be shared if the profits to be made from them were so high. Put it this way, if it can make you more than the amount it takes to employ someone to do it for you (and this is pretty basic work, so clerical/admin wages), then they would simply pay someone else to do it. There are very very few product areas on ebay where you’ll be able to make a living comfortably (except in ebooks where you have no product - even then you need a certain amount of sales just to cover listing fees). To make a living you need to have a unique product, that cannot be easily reproduced by someone else, or you need to be first into a niche market. Neither of these can be learnt from a video. Anyway enough slating - how did the figure of $120,000 in development fees come about?

Hey Russ, according to eBay by the end of 2008, over 800,000 people will be earning their living from eBay.
I recently attended eBay University in the UK and met a LOT of people who have used eBay to earn them an incredible living.
You have got to remember, while sourcing products at a low price is an important part of the mix (and we do teach advanced product sourcing secrets), it isn’t the be all and end all.
There are merchants who lose money on their sales only to earn profits from back-end sales of other products that they stock. Sometimes you have to stock low price products at low margins to bring people into your store to buy the higher priced products at high margins that you sell.
There is a lot more to it than just that, but that’s one quick example.
In addition, people who are serious about making money on eBay need to know how to use the various software tools at their disposal if they are going to leverage their time effectively and be most productive. We provide in depth training in these various tools as well.
As far as the $120,000 is concerned. We’ve got a team of over a dozen powersellers, plus other staff members (video editor, graphic designers, copywriting editor, etc) working on this. It has taken almost 2 years to put together all of these videos, training materials and so forth. The wage bill has been high as a result. This isn’t any ordinary course, we’ve taken the time to do this properly and ensure it is of the highest standard in both quality of information, and also presentation.

I’m a gold powerseller and on eBay since 6 years. I do make a very good living and not selling eBooks :-). Marshall Cant is saying that he sold for $895.95 his first week - as the bar is placed on the screen copy represents not weekly numbers but 30days numbers - weekly numbers are not even showing so he sold $895.95 and that’s all? WOW Regarding planetsms seller - he is selling eBooks from $0.99 to $90+ on the $0.99 the net margin is huge - $0.20 insertion fee, $0.35 for galery feature, $0.05 FVF - total ebay cost: around $0.60 + PayPal costs $0.33 for a total of $0.93… Net margin: $0.07 Source: http://www.ebcalc.com/ $0.07 income if each item sells - unsold items cost $0.55 Selling on eBay is not a question of reading eBooks about eBay secrets - it’s 80% work and 20% luck, add time (lot of it), patience (by truckloads), frustration (make it tons) and be ready to loose money at first - then one week you make it, then the other week too and may be it doesn’t stop. Last comment: Do you really think someone would write and sell an eBook or videos explaining how to become a powerseller with list of suppliers to use? Do you think that this person would finish very quickly with tons of competitors? honestly I wouldn’t!

Regarding planetsms. Firstly, our course isn’t focussed on making money from selling eBooks on eBay, it is based on teaching proven solid business principles, combined with how to implement them on eBay, plus examples from powersellers. Yes, in one section of our course we do conduct comprehensive interviews with a couple of eBay powersellers who reveal their methods of making a fantastic income selling these ebooks, but that isn’t the focus of our course. You could be selling fishing rods, or mp3 players, or billiards tables, its about solid business principles so that people are as efficient as possible in every aspect of their business and make repeat sales to their customers.
Also regarding planetsms, you’re only looking at the money he’s earning from selling the $2.95 ebooks. He earns the majority of his income off the backend. He provides immense value in his ebooks, people see the quality, then they often choose to purchase his other products (home study course, private coaching, etc) which he sells outside of eBay on his own website. So eBay isn’t the be all and end all for businesses to make their income, it is a tool for getting leads, and you can and should also look to make backend sales outside of using eBay as your sales channel. We teach all of this and more in our Sky High Auctions course.
The ebook market will work well for people who have expertise in a particular area and wish to write a book and sell backend courses, or people who wish to earn commissions on the backend promoting other peoples products and earning a commission.
For example, you could use elance.com to hire a writer to write an ebook for you on "How to play the guitar", you could sell it on ebay for $2.95, and you could ‘backend’ the book to promote jamorama.com which offers a wonderful online video course teaching guitar and will pay you 75% commission on each sale that gets made. So you may end up earning much more than the initial $2.95 if you do things right. That method is also taught in Sky High Auctions. That said, most of the examples and strategies in the Sky High Auctions course are for physical product selling. However we do teach those e-product techniques as well as we wanted to cater to everyone who is interested in selling on eBay and there are different markets that suit different people.
Regarding your comment about saying it is 80% work and 20% luck. I agree to an extent. But working hard without maximizing your productivity and marketing leverage is going to reduce the levels of profits that you make, causing you to forgo the potential growth that you should be experiencing. I’d say without working ’smart’, the percentage will be more like 30% extremely hard work and 70% luck.

Hi, Sounds like interesting information. I did try to sell stuff on Ebay a bit over a year or so ago. I found that while i could sell stuff i had so much fees. I mainly sold ebooks, but you tended not to make much when you sell them for a few $$, and have other auctions that dont sell stuff.

When you sell ebooks at a low price, you need to be aware that your $2 sale (or whatever price you charge) is not where you make the money. In a nutshell, what you need to do is provide a quality ebook for a low price, and backend it to another product which sells at a higher price. For example, you could sell a $2 ebook on how to play the piano, but at the end of each chapter you could recommend another product, such as rocketpiano.com and earn for yourself an extra $30+ in commissions from that sale). That’s just one rough example, it can be done a lot bigger and better than that. What if you told your buyer that they can have resale rights to the ebook? Now you have them selling it for $2 (or more) and you’ll earn $30 for everyone that buys your backend product.
I am a senior citizen that would like to establish an eBay store. however I have found many of these so called "helpful tutorials " absolutely mind boggling. Therefore I am anxiously awaiting the release of your videos so that I might continue on my road to success. Will it be straightforward in its content and not so technical that one needs a phd to fathom what is being taught/ thanks Helen

Why do most of the Companies that promote these courses, that promise to "make you a millionaire in just three short weeks" always sending out these fabulous, very colorful emails with tons of videos and testimonials from everyone and their brothers and NEVER tell you how much the course will cost until you sift through pages and pages of "information"???? We have learned everything we know by trial and error. It would be nice to finally see one course that is down to earth and really delivers what they promise.

Hi, the course sounds excellent but is it good for UK customers as all the sites you look at on the preview are US and most if not all your satisfied customers are US based. I also find it hard to find legit suppliers in the UK/International who sell authentic goods but in the US you can get to go and visit some of your potential suppliers and pick stock. Over here we just don’t have that (or at least i can’t find them!) Do you have any successful powersellers who earn 5k+ in the UK per month? And is it a product they have cornered already like most powersellers?

I have been looking for something like this & so far all I have found is the sell the old junk & garbage routines. I sell chocolates & my husband does electronics. we would like to find a legit way to take our ebay business to the next level. From the research I have done this seems to be what we are looking for.
I’ve been selling on ebay for the past few years with no significant results and profits. I start to wonder how all those powersellers do it. There’s got to be a way…a shortcut at least!
ebay, though a million-dollar money-making marketplace, brings with it the challenges and competition as well. Thus, whether or not our auctions stand up from among the competition really depends on the strategies we adopt. I believe I’ve already priced my products at very competitive prices, but some competitors price them even lower. Much lower than what my wholesalers offer me! And I want to find out what’s going on!

One company wanted 8500 to join and most of all the stuff included is on the ebay site itself. Ebay has lots of free info on selling. I can’t see paying fees to a dropshipper to be a member they want your business more than you need them. There are a lot of companies to choose from. Most of what I am researching now is buying from the source rather than the dropshippers. I have been watching all your videos on advice for selling on auctions. I know that the timing couldn’t be better than right now. I’m a dummy. I’ve started selling on eBay. My feedback score is 108, with 100% positive . . . but it takes me SO MUCH TIME to set up auctions and manage them. I feel like I’m not describing items the way I should, not ending the auctions at the right time, or being smart about the things I sell. I need to learn a LOT about selling on eBay so I don’t feel like a “dummy” anymore. HELP ME !

There are several reasons I want to receive Sky High Auctions:
1. It sounds like the most exciting up and coming program and site to get auction information for the newbie (like me) and the vet (which I would become after completing the program).
2. I can’t wait until March - PLEASE GIVE ME ONE!!!!!
3. Now on a serious side - I am self-employed and just had 2 large contracts cancelled and/or placed “on hold”. I am scared and need to start looking for alternate income in case the bottom falls out.

Hi! I have read all above comments and I find good points in all especially regarding eBay changes. I have just become a powerseller and so far qualify in my review ratings for the proposed discount, but I do not know how long that will last. I have been selling for almost 2 years and make a very modest amount of profit. I am by no means a knowledgeable or experienced seller and those eBay changes do scare me. So I can honestly say I need all the help I can get. This program sounds very good. Aside from an eBay store and other responsibilities, I have 2 websites sitting there doing nothing and I want to develop them. Can you help me and others like me?
I am sick of being fed bull, in small enough amounts that it seems almost plausible, only to be slowly bleed dry following “the secret”! It would be nice to be taken under the wing of an expert and learn from their expertise for a change.
I’m now a stay at home mom with a four month old son. My husband works in roofing so this is his shaky months. To help keep us in diapers, formula and cereal I’ve been selling items on eBay. The internet is amazing. I remember learning about computers at school 23years or so ago. Back then we had one computer to share with about 500 or so students. We were told that people will do all of their shopping even groceries on the computer it was hard to believe back then. The internet is a great way to make and save money. We all have to budget to make ends meet these days and it is difficult to earn extra money when you have a typical 9 - 5 JOB. Having the opportunity to make a little extra from home is a God send. For mothers wanting to stay at home and be with their families you really can succeed. I have dabbled with buying and selling on eBay and would like to do more. Maybe this is will be the start of sometihing big for me.
I guess you can just call me a skeptic. All I can think is, why would somebody invest $120,000 developing this website and videos when supposedly they already know the secrets to making millions on ebay as an ebay seller? ok, why? Obviously its is clear that the big money is not in selling on ebay, its from exploiting those who want to sell on ebay.
