When Your eBay Business Gets Really BIG!

Hi Guys

I’m hoping that a lot of you will find it inspiring to see a few photos of me and my pallets of products at my storage facility.

This is what happens when your eBay business gets really big!

Well that’s me and I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved so far using the power of online auctions. It started out being a great second living for me and my family and now earns me a lot more than any job has ever paid me.

I also want to remind those of you who don’t like stocking product that Sky High Auctions also teaches other methods of making money from eBay, such as through selling digital products and so forth. Those videos were put together by friends of mine who are earning massive figures selling $2 ebooks on eBay. Look out for those lessons.

where do you get your goods and how can I acquire such number and sell them on the ebay. can you please advice me on how to go about doing same business. thanking you.

    Reply from Sky High Auctions:

This is revealed in the full Sky High Auctions course. I would rather not disclose publicly as I will then have 1,000’s competing with me :) I don’t mind sharing this with members though.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Shahid Says:

I am glad for you that your business is really paying off your hardwork. I have a predictment, I have not been able to source a product. I have invested, and lost a lot of money with ‘out sourcers’, nothing has worked, yet.

Any suggestions, recommendations would be greatly appreciated

  3. Harold Says:

Hi Jimmy, is your ebay userID public? I would love to check out your auctions to see how you do your listings, word terms etc etc. Also, you know what would be REALLY inspiring and helpful to me and possibly other sellers: If you could do some photos, or even better, a video of you going through the process of listing and selling an item, from beginning to end! Would be great to see a real office, how it’s set up. The workspaces. The actual process of taking photos and writing the description… EVERY DETAIL OF THE PROCESS UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!!!!! Just an idea :) Cheers, Harold

Hi Jimmy, I can’t access your videos because I have a dial up connection. It takes 30 minutes to download about 2.5 minutes of video. Is there any other way I can see the videos? Also, my financial situation is dire. Will the Sky High Auctions package be expensive? Will it always be for sale in the future? I likely won’t be able to afford it right now. Thanks, Al

    Reply from Sky High Auctions:

    Hi Al

It will be very reasonably prices at $167 for lifetime membership (first 500 members only!). Then it will be $267.

  7. John Linn Says:

I am new since Nov. 07 and I started by selling items that I no longer needed at home and so far I have not needed any outside cash to pay any of my fee from ebay. Now I use Salehoo.com to get dropshipping companies to package and ship the products I sell in my ebay store. It’s taking a little time for it to circulate through the internet, but it is starting to work and I hope that someday that I have to build a warehouse to stock with pallets of merchandise.

My husband and I are business owners so my husband (Ted) is to busy to help me with this so a warehouse is not really feasible for me but I sure am interested in the ebooks. I am not to savy when it comes to computer but I want to learn how to download the ebooks and sell them.
    Congrats on your business

  19. Teresa Says:

Hi I do have an eBay business that I started about a year ago. However it was going great until lately. I have learned that I have purchased way to much inventory just sitting that I cant get listed fast enough. A big lesson I learned is to buy then sell. Reinvest profits into more inventory when you have the money to do so. Try to stay away from using your credit card to put inventory on if it is not going to be payed right away. What do we do with nonmoving inventory? Thanks Teresa

    Reply fro Sky High Auctions:

There are two main options here. 1) Drop your price and take a lose / breakeven on it so it doesn’t hang around in your warehouse/garage too long. 2) Package it up with a few other items and sell it as a "wholesale lot" on eBay.

You are often better to just clear it out and move on to something that has higher profit margins or that is selling much quicker.

Hi Jimmy, Thats great that you have all that stuff to list. I have a lot of used items mostly books. I have listed a lot over the years that i have been with ebay, but i havent made much money. The fees get ridiculous. When an item sells for .99 i dont make much at all. I hope i can start to pick up selling and not just listing without sales. Thanks for your input.

    Hello Jimmy Huber,
Enjoyed your photos of a well stocked warehouse. It’s always great to look back on those beginning steps that eventually lead to the top of the hill. Best of luck to you in the future and continued success for you and your family.

  24. arjproseller (ebay user) Says:

Great information - I enjoy your approach and look forward to lots more information. I have been doing poorly online and spent alot of money and now not much room to spend more but we are attempting to revive things shortly. Will follow your advice and look forward to hearing more about your March promotion.

One of my main problems is sourcing a reputable site for wholesaling CD’s as a start - I was attempting to sell Ipods and MP3’s but the market is so competitive I was getting no where’s and the monthly fees for the wholesale sites were getting to be too much. It would be nice to make money each month even just enough to cover fees for now. At present the website is being developed through ProStores hopefully this is a good idea.

Thanks Again Jimmy - glad to have found your site.

    Regards,

    Carl

  26. Philip "John" Williams Says:

    Hi Jimmy,
As you can see I do have a website, although it is only about 6 weeks “old”. Despite a lot of work with submissions etc still no lookers/customers. Oh well keep trying!!

My question is however, re. eBay. I have operated an eBay Australia site for about 3+ years now, primarily buying/selling model trains. Without giving tooooo>> many secrets away; do you have a lot of members from Australia?? My reason for that is it would be good if there was an “Australian Group”. It would be terrific if there was an exchange with other locals on matters like shipping etc.I have had a look at your Community Forum, to no avail.

By the way I joined your organization about two weeks ago & am still “feeling” my way.

    Regards,

    Philip “John”

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO GET PRODUCTS TO SELL ON EBAY A FROM WHERE BECAUSE SOME IMPORTERS OR WHOLESALERS WHEN THEY KNOW YOU DON’T HAVE A SHOP THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED

  42. Martin Naylor Says:

Hello Jimmy. It looks like I’m almost convinced that your training package is what I have been looking for. I wish I would have found it years ago as I it has been a hard slog finding good information like this, particularly as I work by myself and there are very little resources available even from Ebay. Can you tell me if the course will cover bookkeeping and accounts for high volume sellers? This is an area that is taking a lot of my time and Ebay cannot seem to help( even though it’s in their best interest. I explained this to an actual person on ebay who contacted me as my personal powerseller account manager. I explained about my problems and she promised me the earth and agreed that it was in ebay’s best interest to mentor people like me. That was 2 months ago and I have not heard anything from her since!!! Many thanks, Martin

     Reply from Sky High Auctions:

Yes and yes :) It will cover bookkeeping and account management. We also have full video lessons on alot of the software you can use to manage these sorts of things.

I’m a new salehoo member. I have a website with products from a source with a very good profit margin and they offer free dropshipping too. But as of this time I had never made a sale on this website and I plan selling on ebay to start selling online. I have already registered on ebay but have not tried selling yet. My target is to become a powerseller this year. Can you help me get started? Thanks.

    John

  44. Anne Young Says:

Great ideas. We will implement many of your ideas in our eBay marketing, especially using loss leaders to drive business to higher margin items. We have taken down website and are reworking it and will study your course for tips on how to best integrate it with our main focus, which is eBay. Thank you
